Wandle Delta Blues (instrumental - electric style) Personnel: Ken Morton (lead guitar); iang (bass); Lorenzo (harp); Joe Gillespie (Hammond XB-1 and rhythm guitar) This completely original number is the brainchild of one of the bands guitarists, Ken Morton, and was originally called the "Leather Bottle Blues"after the name of a pub we did a series of garden gigs at in 1999 (see picture). This searingly beautiful, mellow, delicate blues brings to mind the blues Kings (Albert, Freddie and B.B) and is one of the bands favourite numbers. Joe used to back Ken on this one but now Mike does that on Ken's Kawai guitar. Joe Gillespie actually added the drums on this track using a Mac and MIDI as Dougie was not available at this session.
